 ’75 – Best Alive!

Welcome to the Pikesville Senior High Class Of 1975 web site. What we get out of it depends on what we put into it. Please help us find missing classmates.

We’re also on Facebook!

We are saddened to learn of the passing of our classmate Gary Shaivitz on May 5, 2012. Please feel free to share your memories of Gary on our “In Memory” page.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Well, that was fun!

Thanks to all of you who made the class party what it was. The hosts, the planners, the volunteers, the attendees, and anyone and everyone else who contributed an idea, a thought, or an encouraging word. You’ll find the “official” party photos, as well as links to a few albums posted by classmates, on the 2011 Class Party page.

Wish the party would never end? It’s still going on in the forums (or at least it can be if you want it to). Also, we have a few suggestions for sharing your photos (there isn’t room for very many of them on this website).

Keep on Truckin’!

About This Website

This website was created to help organize and promote the 2011 Class Party. Cost: less than $30 out-of-pocket, plus some elbow grease. It served its purpose well, so we could turn out the lights and pull the plug.

Or not.

If we fork over $350 to Class Creator in a few weeks, the site is ours for the next five years, which will take us to and beyond our 40th reunion. $550 would buy us ten years. If you think you might use the site to keep up with friends and classmates by subscribing to a few profiles or checking the forums every now and then, or use it to help your classmates keep up with you by updating your own profile once in a while or editing your contact info when you move or change your phone number or email address,* we invite you to consider contributing a few bucks.

Want to sponsor a day on the website? Just name the date when you make your contribution. How about a week? Or a month? Sure. Just make a larger contribution. How much larger? We’ll leave that up to you. This isn’t NPR here, folks; we’re just trying to have some fun.

NEWS FLASH! We’ve anteed up for another ten years. Thanks for your support. Now that you’ve paid for this place, please use it in good health.

 —The Management

*Your classmates don’t see your email address(es), and they don’t see your street address and phone numbers unless you check a box to make them visible. However, if you don’t keep at least one email address current then you won’t receive alerts when classmates send you private messages, and if all of your contact info goes stale then we won’t know how to reach you.

To join in on the fun ... it’s as easy as 1,2,3 ...

1.  To catch up with your classmates, peruse the photo gallery, and participate in the forums, you must join the site (it’s free).

2.  To join, go to the Classmate Profiles page, scroll down to find your name, and click on it.

3.  On the page that opens, look for the part that says “If you are (your name), please click here now to create your login!” Follow the instructions with your primary email address, and create your own password (you don’t need no stinkin’ system password). Keep hitting the "next step" buttons, entering as much or as little information as you wish along the way (you can add and change this “profile” material later on), until you reach the “Congratulations” screen.

Let us know what you think, and what you’d like to see here. There’s a Contact Us link up on the menu bar, or you can send an email to info (The Management) or webmaster (tech support).

Please help us find missing classmates, listed on this list of classmates we’re not sure how to reach. Just complete this short Missing Classmate Report Form, and we'll send them a website invitation. We are trying to locate former teachers too! Any help you can provide is appreciated. If you’re curious about someone who hasn’t surfaced yet, post something in the “Whatever happened to … ?” forum.
